Every Talktome.bio profile has a toggle on every answer: public or private. Most creators leave it on private by default. That's a mistake.
Public answers are permanent content
A public answer sits on your profile forever. Every new visitor reads it. It shows up in search. It gets shared.
One well-answered public question can drive more paid asks than a week of social posts.
Public answers are social proof
New fans landing on a blank profile don't know if you're worth $20 to talk to. New fans landing on a profile with 40 public answers — thoughtful, useful, on-brand — decide almost instantly.
The rule of thumb
Make an answer public when: it's not personal, the asker didn't request privacy, and you'd be proud to have it under your name in a year.
In practice that's about 70-80% of questions for most creators.
The private toggle exists for the ones that need it. Everything else should be working for you in public.
